We provide a free of charge house call service to discuss the customer requirements, advise on site preparation, show you the products, explain the differences between products, recommend the most suitable type of product and provide the customer with the basic knowledge on quality differences of artificial grass and putting green products in general.
The founder of the Business Jacques van t'Hart originally from the Netherlands started this enterprise in 2002 with IntoGardens a High Quality Provider of Mature Trees amongst one of the services.
In 2006 Jacques was approached by The Dutch Company Royal Grass who needed someone in Ireland & UK to develop the market in artificial grass. But not just any product would do, you need a USP well the unique selling point (or angle) came in the form of the V-shape blades.
These V-shape blades not only looked like real grass but it also ensured the blades stay upright for longer during intensive treading, thus keeping the artificial grass beautiful for longer.
Jacques took the sole disruption rights. Success with this product and the installation service allowed the Growth into a new Market. The Ryder Cup saw an increased enthusiasm in the sport, and a desire to have Putting Greens to practice after all you have driven ranges. But why stop there why not at Homes and Offices?
But not just any putting green will do "stimp ratings"
The stimp rating is a numerical value of a putting green which tells you how fast the golf ball rolls on the putting surface. Also known as the green speed.
If a putting green speed is 7 this is considered quite slow and a green with a speed of 9 or 10 moderate speed.
A stimp rating of 13 or 14 is considered fast. PGA Tour venues have green speeds of 12 to 15.
Golf courses in the United States tend to have faster greens than ones in Europe which is down to grass type weather conditions.
With the correct use of synthetic & artificial grasses with a nylon or polymer structure including the yarn and stitch pattern we can give you the Stimp rating you want .
